Jane Cirksena

Jane has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, magna cum laude, from the College of Saint Benedict and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota.  She worked for the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General as well as for the firm of Hvistendahl, Moersch and Dorsey before coming to Sarasota in 2005.  Prior to joining Kauffman Thompson, Jane operated Thompson Resources, LLC, a consulting practice assisting clients from real estate developers/owners to not-for-profits in all aspects of their businesses.

Jane is passionate about our community and has held many volunteer leadership positions in Sarasota not-for-profit, civic and membership organizations, including the Asolo Theater, Sarasota Sister Cities Association, Pines of Sarasota, Designing Women Boutique, Designing Daughters, the Sarasota Arts and Cultural Alliance, Sarasota Yacht Club and Donors of Distinction.

Jane loves to cook, especially international cuisine, and her adventures have taken her to all seven continents.
